Crap.
When I started this blog I sincerely did not intend for it to be primarily about politics. I like other things. I do a decent job keeping up with a couple of fields of science. I know much more than your average Circuit City employee about personal computers. I've got hobbies ranging from freshwater planted aquariums to AD&D.
Of course the only thing that ever seems to move to post on this blog involves politics.
there are at least
7953 18163 497204 lots ofother left-leaning political blogs out there right now. Why ought I add to that?
Oh that's right, this blog isn't for readers, it's for me to vent.
Alright then, carry on.
So Bush met with the Pope today. Truth be told, I your humble blogger, am a recovering Catholic. My views on the Vatican are no doubt skewed, however, I give a high five to the pontiff on this:
"Other deplorable events," he said, "have come to light which have troubled the civic and religious conscience of all, and made more difficult a serene and resolute commitment to shared human values. In the absence of such a commitment, neither war nor terrorism will ever be overcome."
George, you can't win the
War on Terror with terror.
